Finding your *silly little newsletter* (I say this to myself literally daily) was one of the best parts of 2024 so thank you thank you for using your little corner of the internet to encourage being a little messy, a lot thrifty, and pushing past our own mental blocks to find a little bit of happiness in a scary world. Also, the asparagus is TOO GOOD.
The feeling is so *so* *so* mutual -- Internet friendships are a unique brand of special and I'm glad the universe brought us together in this corner of the internet ✨

Not two of my favorite movies in one! My favorite line/motto from Garden State is “If you can’t laugh at yourself, life is going to seem a whole lot longer than you like” It’s a constant challenge to not to take ourselves, and what we put out ::gestures around:: too seriously. There is bravery and value in creating.
I may just be the poster child for the "takes themselves too seriously" illness campaign. It's a process to allow yourself to be really, really bad at something in order to learn and grow, especially in the age of the internet where viewing "perfection" is so easily accessible!
